This little card fell out of our pizza box last night. It was a ‘fakeaway’ pizza, bought in a supermarket which is evidently a reasonably cheap way to enjoy a branded pizza.
The card offers 30% discount on food taken in one of their restaurants.
Of course if you go to the restaurant, rather than eating at home, you are more likely to order something to nibble on before your pizza arrives, perhaps a glass/bottle of wine and maybe even a dessert.
What a great idea … to offer a captive audience an opportunity to spend more money next time!
Lesson learned?
If somebody is already buying a product or service from you, what else could you sell them? How could you encourage them to upgrade or buy your product in a more lucrative way?
